These terms govern your use of the Zero. iOS app and the ghostrebellion.com website, operated by Ghost Rebellion, based in Los Angeles, California. Using either means you accept them.
Zero. is a one-time purchase. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices tied to your Apple ID, under Apple's standard terms. You are licensing the software, not buying ownership of it.
There is no subscription. There will never be a subscription. We will not introduce recurring charges, paid tiers or in-app purchases to a version you have already bought.
Zero. never cancels anything on your behalf. It has no access to your bank, your card, your App Store account or any service you subscribe to. It cannot log in anywhere, cannot make payments and cannot end a subscription.
Marking a subscription as ghosted records your own decision. It does not cancel that subscription. Cancelling is entirely your responsibility and must be done directly with the service in question. If you ghost a sub in the app and do not cancel it, you will keep being charged.
Zero. ships with a catalogue of subscription prices and alternatives. These are starting points, gathered in good faith and updated periodically, but prices change constantly and vary by country and plan. Treat every figure as an estimate and edit it to match what you actually pay.
The damage totals the app calculates are only as accurate as the figures you enter. They are an aid to thinking, not financial advice.
The name describes what the app points you towards, not an outcome we guarantee. Some subscriptions are worth keeping, and most people will never cancel all of them. Zero. makes what you spend visible and shows you what else exists — every decision after that is yours, and any money you save depends entirely on which subscriptions you choose to end.
We make no representation that using Zero. will reduce your spending by any particular amount, or at all.
The alternatives Zero. suggests are third-party products we have no relationship with. We are not paid to list them, we do not control them, and we cannot guarantee they are suitable for you, still free, or still available. Whether a given alternative meets your needs is your judgement to make.
Zero. is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its calculations or catalogue will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghost Rebellion is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Zero., including financial loss from a subscription you did or did not cancel. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Purchases are made through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple under their policy. We cannot issue them ourselves.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, redistribute or resell the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continuing to use Zero. after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
